BE INFORMED: An average fire truck carries 1,000 gallons of water and normally equipped with 1,500 gallon per minute pump. The standard attack line is 1.5 diameter, with a nozzle rated to produce 75 psi at 125 gallon per minute.

So, using a single 1.5” attack line, we can flow water for 8 minutes until we drain the inboard water tank.
